FISHING FAQ

Will I need a fishing license?
No, our fishing boats hold the license.

Will there be a bathroom on board our charter vessel?
Yes. There are different accommodations on our fishing boats. We have two boats with a restroom and the others have portable potties.

Are food, beverages, fishing equipment and bait included?
We supply all the rods, reels, licenses, bait and a licensed Captain. We do not supply food or drink. We do have a cooler with ice, you can bring whatever you would like to eat or drink (in plastic or cans), but you are welcome to bring your own small cooler.

What type of clothing should I wear?
Depending on the time of year, it is best to check the weather. Usually on the water air temperatures are 3-10 degrees cooler, however, the sun will reflect off the water and be more damaging to your skin if not properly protected. Good rubber soled shoes, shorts, sunglasses, a light shirt and hat are recommended. And don’t forget your sunscreen!

Can I take my family out on a charter?
A fishing charter can be enjoyed by a single person or a family. We do supply life jackets even for small children, just remind us when booking the trip.

What if the weather is bad?
We do go rain or shine, and you can cancel up to 24 hours before the trip. Beyond that time the Captain makes the call.

Will the Captain clean the fish I catch so I can take it home?
Our Captains will clean and fillet the fish for you, and put them in a bag with ice. You can take home to cook, or have one of the recommended restaurants cook them for you. See link for list of Restaurants that will cook your fish at Useful Links.
